Gary and Karen Price
I
have had my own Painting and Decorating business for twenty
years and whilst my income has grown consistently over the
years and have a nice house and good lifestyle my dream
of developing financial security for me and my family wasn’t
going to happen. I’d climbed my career ladder only
to find the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall! So
at 40 years of age we’d started to rationalise away
our dreams, making plans like selling our house when we
got older, moving to a small flat to release the equity
to live on, nothing wrong with that just not what we had
originally planned. So we were looking for something when
we came across this opportunity I was working for a couple
around my age but in the last seven years they had developed
their work from home business to an incredible level. They
had the financial freedom I’d been dreaming of, however
we dismissed the opportunity as not for us as we’d
tried something similar before and had no success. Working
at David Bevan and Jane Clark’s house over several
months I realised they had a sense of direction something
I was lacking, we developed a friendship so we decided to
take a closer look at the business by going along to a training
day at Kensington, London.
Be
careful you don’t pre judge the opportunity and miss
it I’m so glad we didn’t, I honestly believe
if I hadn’t been working at David and Jane’s
house for those months we wouldn’t have checked this
business out for us. That was in December 2002, we started
working the business in January 2003 part time around my
decorating business. In our first month we earned just under£600.
In February, we earned over £660 and in March it was
nearly £800. Karen gave up her part-time job straight
away and now in August2003 I’m pretty much full time
at home working this business. I’m not saying we’ve
got our financial freedom yet but we are excited about our
future. Since joining the business we’ve qualified
to travel to Holland, Paris and now we’re off to spend
four days in Cala D’Or on David and Jane’s boat
with six other couples to cruise around all paid for (we
can’t really believe it! The best advice we can give
anyone reading this is don’t prejudge this opportunity,
check it out properly and do your home work before you commit
to it – we did and that’s meant we’ve
taken it seriously from day one. Good luck with your future.
